A brother and sister never put their dirty laundry in the proper place. About the Author

One night at dinner, kindergartener Alexander Kapustin spun this story to entertain his family. With his audience constantly asking, "And then what happened?" the tale grew and grew. It was promptly forgotten as the typical dessert negotiations began. But when Alex's kindergarten teacher remarked on his creative imagination and writing talent, his parents recalled Alex's storytelling and decided to preserve The Dirty Laundry Monster in written form so he-and they-could enjoy it later in life. Alexander Kapustin first told his family the story of the dirty laundry monster when he was five years old. He is in kindergarten and enjoys playing with his sister and friends, performing magic tricks, and watching movies. He does not enjoy putting his dirty laundry where it belongs. Alex and his sister often use the laundry hamper as a boat, train, or car. When he grows up, Alex wants to be an elementary school music teacher, a firefighter, a spy, or all three.
