Where does evil come from...Is it born or is it created? Claire grew up isolated; a secret her parents kept after a desperate attempt to shut out the cruel world that had wronged them. But at fifteen years old, Claire's desire to step beyond the boundaries of her parent's seclusion outweighs all consequences she may face if caught. I grew up in a small New England town, but currently reside in beautiful North Carolina with my loving husband, Danny, our cat Cassi and our three wonderful dogs, Bailey, Madison and Emma. I hold a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and work full-time as an Adult Probation & Parole Officer, which is why, more than likely, you will see touches of the criminal justice system in my writing. When I'm not working or taking care of my family, my passion has always been for reading. I learned to read at a very young age and have always believed it to be a driving force that truly shaped my life.
