Joy Gallegos, and her husband Joe, are friends with Larry. So, they had the honor of watching Woopaa make history in Las Vegas in 2021. The experience inspired this book. Joy knew that a story this remarkable needed to be told. And that kids should know how friendship inspired a very cool name for a very special bull.Bob Adams has been an artist for over 60 years. He was born in Oklahoma in 1939, with Choctaw blood running through his veins. He lives in El Paso, TX and has been holding hands with his wife, Linda for 57 years. Together they raised three children; showing them what it means to be good people, and above all, to love God. So when Joy decided to write this book, it made sense to ask her Dad to paint the pictures that would tell the story. Bob put his heart into these pages to make sure that everyone that reads this book would love Woopaa as much as we do.Taylor Gallegos, Joy's daughter, created the illustrations for the beautiful introductory pages.
