Jack Greene, a native of California, has written on a wide range of naval and military subjects for such magazines as Warship International. Alessandro Massignani has been researching and writing on, particularly, Italian military history for over 30 years. Together they have co-authored several books, including Ironclads at War 1855-1891, Rommel's North Africa Campaign, and The Black Prince and the Sea Devils.
